Police have arrested the suspect accused of attacking a food delivery rider during a road rage incident in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA), according to local media reports.
Officials said the suspect was arrested during a raid in the Badar Commercial area of DHA, where police also seized his vehicle. Investigators said he was allegedly preparing to flee to another city before his arrest.
The incident reportedly began after a minor collision between the suspect’s car and the rider’s motorcycle.
According to police, the driver became enraged, got out of his vehicle and repeatedly struck the motorcycle with a hockey stick, causing extensive damage.
The suspect then allegedly chased the delivery rider while carrying the hockey stick and issued threats during the confrontation.
Following the incident, the rider filed a complaint seeking legal action against the suspect.
Police said legal proceedings have been initiated, while further investigations into the case are continuing.
