IHC Gives Final Opportunity to Imran, Bushra to Argue £190 Million Case Appeals

Jarida Report

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday granted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi a final opportunity to present arguments in their appeals against their convictions in the £190 million case.

A division bench accepted a request by defence counsel Sardar Latif Khosa to adjourn the hearing after he undertook to present arguments at the next hearing without seeking any further delay.

The court warned that if the defence fails to proceed at the next hearing, no further adjournment will be granted and the appeals will be decided on the basis of the available record after hearing the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
