Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam on Sunday said that the Islamabad Talks have laid the foundation for a sustainable diplomatic framework.
In a statement on social media platform X, Reza Amiri Moghadam said that the Islamabad Talks are not just an event but an ongoing process. He expressed gratitude for the goodwill initiative of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
He added that Pakistani institutions worked tirelessly to ensure the organization of the Islamabad Talks, and that the negotiations were made possible through the continuous efforts of the Pakistani government, army, police, and security forces. “Talks were held in a dignified and befitting atmosphere for the guests in a calm, orderly and secure environment with equal logistic opportunities for both sides,” he said.
