On Monday, The Punjab Government ordered the closure of schools, colleges, and universities as the provincial government moves to reduce economic pressures due to the Middle East conflict.
The announcement comes as part of measures by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, following a sharp rise in petroleum prices amid global supply disruptions from the ongoing Middle East tensions. Under the new rules, all schools, colleges, and universities will remain closed from March 10 to March 31. Educational institutions may continue online classes, while examinations will go ahead as scheduled.
