A Lahore sessions court on Friday extended the interim bail of YouTuber Rajab Butt, TikToker Nadeem Naniwala until March 12 in a case about the alleged promotion of an online gambling application. The case was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), which alleged that the accused were involved in promoting an online betting application in violation of relevant laws.
During the hearing, the court approved a request from Nadeem Naniwala seeking an exemption from personal appearance for one day. The court also directed that the record of all three accused be presented at the next hearing and summoned the prosecutor to appear before the court. Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Qureshi, who presided over the hearing, extended the interim bail of the accused until March 12.
