Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran and expressed deep concern over the growing crisis in the Middle East.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was in touch wth the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, over the phone and expressed deep concern over the growing crisis in the Middle East and strongly condemned the Israeli attack on Iran and the subsequent regrettable attacks on the brotherly Gulf countries.
Erdogan, in his recent contacts with the leadership of the Gulf countries, included a message from Pakistan reiterating its full solidarity with them and its readiness to play a constructive role in resolving the crisis. The two leaders stressed that all parties should exercise maximum restraint and tolerance to avoid further escalation
