CTD Kills Seven Terrorists In Shangla, Karachi Operations; Three Policemen Martryed

Four suspected terrorists were eliminated in an alleged encounter with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police in Shah Latif Town here on Monday. Two policemen of the CTD also sustained injuries in the firing and have been shifted to the hospital. The operation was conducted on information from under-custody terrorists. The dead outlaws belonged to Fitna al-Khawarij and the Indian-sponsored proscribed organisation BLA. Their two to three accomplices escaped during the shootouts.

Three militants were killed while three police officials were martyred in a targeted operation in Kabal Gram, Shangla district, by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), officials said. According to CTD authorities, the slain terrorists were affiliated with the banned group Fitna al-Khawarij. They were wanted in multiple serious cases, including attacks on foreign nationals. Their key commander, Noor Islam, also known as Salman, was among the militants killed.
