Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja on Friday said that the family of former prime minister Imran Khan would be provided with a copy of his medical report, following growing concern over his health and treatment in custody.
Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court in Islamabad, Raja said that the assurance came after a day-long sit-in by PTI leaders and workers aimed at securing access for Imran Khan’s personal doctors. The protest was joined by several senior party figures, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and Senate Opposition Leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas.
