Salman Ali Agha will lead Pakistan in the T20 World Cup as the country’s cricket board (PCB) announced 15-member squad here on Sunday.
PCB Selection committee director Aqib Javed, announced the team along with head coach Mike Hesson and skipper Salman Ali Agha.
The squad includes Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz, Abrar Ahmed, Naseem Shah, Salman Mirza, Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, Sahibzada Farhan, Faheem Ashraf, Khwaja Nafees, Usman Tariq, Saim Ayub, and Usman Khan.
Aqib said that the players were selected considering the conditions and pitches in Sri Lanka. About the inclusion of Babar Azam, he said the experienced player has an important role in the team to play.
