KIPS College CEO Abducted In Lahore, Police Investigation Well Underway

Jarida Report

The CEO of KIPS College, Abid Wazir Khan, was abducted on Thursday while leaving his office in the Johar Town area of Lahore. According to the First Information Report (FIR), Khan was intercepted en route and taken by unknown assailants while he was on the phone with the college’s female general manager.

The FIR notes that during the call, the woman heard a male voice accusing Khan of damaging the man’s vehicle in an accident. Police have registered a case at the Johar Town Police Station, with initial reports suggesting the incident could be linked to ransom, though authorities have not confirmed this. Lahore’s DIG Operations Faisal Kamran told Dunya News that there has been no contact or ransom demand received so far. “This is not currently being treated as a ransom case. Our investigation is ongoing, and police teams are operating in multiple districts,” Kamran said.
