President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday said Pakistan reaffirms its unwavering commitment to promoting understanding, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence as the world observed the International Day for Tolerance. In a message for the tolerance day, observed on Nov 16, President Zardari emphasised the need for cooperation in a connected world.
In today’s globalised world, where cultures and communities are more connected than ever, it is vital to foster dialogue, empathy and cooperation,” he said, highlighting that the Islamic teachings inherently champion tolerance, emphasising compassion, justice, and respect for humanity.
