Belgium has warned that European Union countries must collectively share the financial and legal risks if frozen Russian assets are tapped to support Ukraine. Brussels stressed that unilateral exposure could leave individual states vulnerable to lawsuits or retaliatory measures.
The debate comes as the EU seeks ways to channel billions in seized Russian funds toward Kyiv’s war effort.
