The U.S. Food and Drug Administration have given Apple Watch models, such as Series 9, 10, 11, Ultra 2, and Ultra 3 a new hypertension notification feature. The tool will actively monitor the cardiovascular trends after 30-day periods and will alert the users in case consistent symptoms of high blood pressure are identified.
Apple assured the feature would be available by the end of September 2025 in over 150 countries, but not in China and Turkey, as it is restricted by regulation. It is one of the largest health-related applications to the device since its ECG app launched, further diversifying Apple into preventive digital health.
