As Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, presided over the meeting at the Civil Secretariat adamant instructions were given to the authorites concerned with the ongoing rescue and relief operations in the flood-affected areas of Jalalpur Pirwala and Liaqatpur. This meeting was an overall flood management review—which took place this Monday.
He instructed that additional rescue boats be deployed immediately to the hardest-hit areas, ensuring that evacuation efforts were carried out swiftly and efficiently.
