The floods in Pakistan have caused immense destruction all over the country since they began. With India releasing constant flood waves, combined with the continuous monsoon rains, the situation is impossible to bring under control as of right now. Entire communities, including cities and villages have been wiped out with the infrastructure being severely damaged as well.
Nearly half a million people have been displaced by flooding in eastern Pakistan , 481,000 people stranded by the floods had been evacuated, along with 405,000 livestock. Overall, more than 1.5 million people have been affected by the flooding, including in Lahore, the provincial capital. Tragically, about 830 people have lost their lives, with many more injured. Thousands of families have lost their homes, loved ones and their lifelong belongings. The crisis continues to grow every single day, bringing more chaos and destruction with it.
