Pakistan’s Steel Industry Struggles with Energy Efficiency Oversight

A recent study by the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA) reveals that Pakistan’s steel sector lacks proper energy monitoring systems, making it the least energy-efficient among key industries. Despite accounting for 15% of industrial energy use, many steel units don’t track their consumption or have energy managers.
