The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that two Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred and 11 terrorists killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in South Waziristan on June 24. The operation was launched after credible intelligence indicated the presence of militants in the region. A fierce exchange of fire took place, resulting in significant terrorist casualties. The martyred soldiers were identified as Lance Naik Shahzeb and Sepoy Shoukat. Clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
