Pakistan Reaffirms Strong Solidarity with Iran Amid Israel’s Aggression, Says Khawaja Asif

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif stated on June 23, 2025, that Pakistan stands in “complete solidarity” with Iran in facing what he described as Israel’s “unprovoked and unjustified aggression”  . He emphasised the threat of regional escalation and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities, warning that Israel’s bombing of Muslim populations would fail to break their resolve  . Asif urged India’s rejection of US mediation highlighted diplomatic weakness, and said the recent crisis has strengthened Pakistan–Iran “brotherly ties”  .
