PM Directs Swift Finalisation of National Industrial Policy

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the prompt finalisation of Pakistan’s new industrial policy to boost exports and economic growth. Chairing a high-level meeting, he emphasised the need to make the country a production and export-driven economy. The policy aims to promote investment in modern industries, encourage local and foreign investors, and address structural issues hampering industrial progress. The PM also directed the inclusion of stakeholders in the policy-making process to ensure long-term sustainability and practical outcomes.
