Talks between the US and China have concluded with a tentative agreement aimed at reducing recent tensions, according to President Donald Trump. As part of the deal, China will provide US companies with rare earth metals and magnets, while the US will ease its stance on revoking visas for Chinese students. Trump stated that the agreement still awaits final approval from both him and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The deal follows two days of negotiations in London, held to resolve conflicts that have lingered since a truce in May, after tariffs between the two nations had severely disrupted trade.
