Father of Bajaur Health Officer Killed in Bomb Blast at Residence

On Thursday night, a bomb explosion at the residence of Bajaur District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Gohar Ayoub in Khar town resulted in the death of his father, Mian Mohammad Ayoub. The blast, caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted near the main gate, occurred around 10 PM in Hafizabad Mohallah. Mian Ayoub, aged 58, sustained critical injuries and was transported to the District Headquarters Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds. Dr. Ayoub was not present at the time of the incident, which also caused structural damage to parts of the residence. Police have initiated an investigation to determine the motive and identify those responsible for the attack.
