Islamabad Police claim to have arrested the main suspect involved in the murder of 17-year-old TikToker Sana Yousuf. The suspect was traced and apprehended in Faisalabad using mobile location data and call records. According to police, he has confessed to the crime, and a pistol along with Sana’s mobile phone was recovered from him.
Sana was allegedly shot dead at her home on Monday evening by an unidentified man. The FIR, lodged by her mother, stated that the assailant entered the house, went directly to Sana’s room, and fired two shots at her chest before fleeing. CCTV footage from the house and Safe City cameras were used as key evidence.
Sana, originally from Chitral, had been living in Islamabad with her family. She had over 81,000 followers on TikTok and was known for her lighthearted videos with friends around the city. Her family stated she had never received any threats due to her social media presence.
