6 cops martyred, 13 injured as forces repel terrorist attack on D.I. Khan police training centre: ISPR

At least six policemen embraced martyrdom and 13 others were injured after terrorists attacked a police training facility in Dera Ismail Khan, the ISPR confirmed. The coordinated assault involved heavy gunfire and explosives, but security forces quickly retaliated, killing several assailants. ISPR praised the “vigilant and resolute response” of law enforcement, saying the terrorists’ “nefarious designs were swiftly foiled.” The area was cordoned off and a search operation is ongoing to trace fleeing attackers.
