Pakistan’s workers’ remittances reached $3.2 billion in April 2025, marking a 13% year-on-year increase, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). This brings the total for the first 10 months of the fiscal year (July–April) to $31 billion, up 31% compared to the same period last year.

The government had initially set a target of $35 billion in remittances for FY25, but financial experts now anticipate that inflows could reach up to $36 billion by the end of the fiscal year.
