Jarida Legal

Meaning: To a willing person, no injury is done.

Explanation: If someone knowingly and voluntarily consents to a risk, they cannot claim damages for harm resulting from it.

Example: A spectator at a cricket match who gets hit by a stray ball cannot sue the organisers because they accepted the inherent risk.

Importance: This maxim protects parties from liability when the injured had full awareness and acceptance of the risk involved.
