Vlogger Ordered to Perform Community Service for Unlawful Possession of Lion Cub

 In Lahore, a special judicial magistrate convicted vlogger Rajab Ali Butt for possessing a lion cub without the necessary license. As an alternative to traditional sentencing, Butt has been ordered to perform community service by creating monthly five-minute vlogs on animal rights from February 2025 to January 2026. The court acknowledged his guilty plea and remorse, viewing his commitment to public education on animal rights as a corrective measure. The lion cub has been temporarily placed under the care of the Lahore Wildlife Safari Zoo.
