Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has announced the conferral of Pakistan’s highest civil award, the Nishan-e-Pakistan, for Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his official visit to Islamabad. The announcement follows the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate and Professorship from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), which were presented to President Mirziyoyev during the visit.
These honours recognise his contributions to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting academic collaboration.
