USEFP Denies Rumors of Fulbright Scholarship Termination in Pakistan

Jarida Report

The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has dismissed rumors about the termination of the Fulbright scholarship program for Pakistani students. Despite the recent closure of the Global Undergraduate Exchange (Global UGRAD) Pakistan Programme, USEFP clarified that the Fulbright program remains active. Current participants in the U.S. continue to receive their stipends and benefits, and the program continues to accept applications. The U.S. State Department is conducting a global review of its exchange programs to align with the current administration’s priorities. USEFP emphasized its commitment to fostering strong U.S.-Pakistan educational ties and encouraged Pakistani students to pursue higher education opportunities in the United States.
