According to a report from The New York Times, evidence suggests that the lethal strike on an elementary school in Minab, a town in southern Iran, was likely carried out by the United States. The attack, which targeted the school, as confirmed by local authorities the death toll reached to 165, the victims mainly being schoolgirls and staff.
The NYT article highlighted several key pieces of evidence, including satellite images, verified social media posts, and videos, which all pointed to the school being hit by a precise strike. The timing of the attack coincided with airstrikes on a nearby naval facility operated by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.
In response to the tragedy, Iran held a mass funeral for the victims. Despite the mounting evidence, US officials have yet to confirm their involvement, and no party has officially taken responsibility for the assault.
