Art of Writing

If you are interested in becoming a writer, here is something you may want to look into. A three-month certification, starting on the 1st of September, with classes being held every Sunday from 4-7 PM, can serve as a great starting point for you. The course being offered by Ajoka Institute is designed to teach you the art of scriptwriting and will culminate in a public performance of your work. Mr. Shahid Mehmood Nadeem, a recipient of Pride of Performance and an award-winning playwright, will be the instructor of the course and will guide you through the subtleties of writing for theatre and screen. The cost of the certification is Rs5,000 per month.

Agile Conference of Pakistan 2024

Agile Pakistan is arranging three conferences across the major cities of Pakistan: Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The conference will be held at the University of Central Punjab’s Lahore campus on the 21st of September from 9 AM to 5 PM. The conference aims to stimulate an Agile mindset in the attendees, whether they are new to it or are reasonably experienced. One of the core benefits of attending this conference is that it allows professionals to network extensively, thus finding opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth.

While not a large-scale event, the Game Design Thesis Show is meant to showcase the talent of the final-semester students of The Institute of Art & Culture. The event, which will be held in the Exhibition Gallery in the lower ground of the institute, will be organized by The School of Digital and Cinematic Arts and will serve as a public exhibition of individual talents and wild innovation. The event will be held from the 28th to the 30th of August, from 11 AM to 5 PM.

‘Leaves of Grass’

While this may not interest everyone, it is bound to be a special event for those interested in the beauty of art. Titled ‘Leaves of Grass’, the art exhibition of the works of Rakhshanda Atawar, curated by Asim Akhtar, is designed to take you on an imaginative and inspirational journey as you experience her magic at the Ocean Art Galleries in Lahore from the 25th of August to the 7th of September from 4-7:30 PM.

Global Education Scenario Expo

The Educational Scenario International Exhibition is scheduled to hold its 22nd edition in five cities of Pakistan: Hyderabad, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad and Lahore. The event will be held in Lahore from the 30th to 31st of August from 11 AM to 6 PM. aims to provide students with guidance about the global education trends and the opportunities they can claim to fulfill their dream of achieving a world-class education.
