As the world drowns in floods, UN has reported that North Korea will enjoy a strong harvest this fall due to continued clement weather conditions this summer. Although, the low rainfall might lead to the winter crops having fewer yield but this is something the country is well prepared for.
The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported on Monday that “remote sensing data” indicated “good vegetation conditions across most of the country” as of late August, just before the harvest season begins, anticipating “generally favorable yields and production prospects.”
