Ukraine Endures Massive Russian Drone and Missile Assaults on Kyiv and Odesa

On June 10, 2025, Russia launched one of its most extensive air attacks of the Ukraine war, deploying 315 drones alongside seven missiles targeting Kyiv and Odesa  . Ukraine’s air defences shot down most — around 277–284 drones and all missiles  . Despite strong intercepts, at least three civilians were killed (one in Kyiv, two in Odesa) and over a dozen injured; a maternity ward and St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv were damaged  . President Zelenskiy called for urgent international pressure and further sanctions against Russia .
