Jarida Report

A UK Member of Parliament, Manuela Perteghella (Stratford‑upon‑Avon), has formally raised concerns with the Home Office over a music video titled “Jatt Mehkma” by Pakistani actor Mehwish Hayat and Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. Hayat denounced the backlash as “speculative and misleading,” and said misinformation is being documented. Meanwhile, Ofcom and child protection agencies are examining whether the content breaches regulations. The BBC Asian Network has also removed the track from its rotation
