Jarida Report

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, two unidentified bodies were discovered in separate locations within Lakki Marwat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The first body was found in a field near Titterkhel and was transported to the District Headquarters Hospital by Ghaznikhel police. The cause of death remains undetermined. The second body, that of a 50-year-old man with severe injuries, was located along the Bannu-DI Khan Road in Darra Pezu town. Authorities suspect he may have been struck by a vehicle. Both bodies have been shared on social media to aid in identification efforts.

In a related development, the Bannu district administration has imposed a week-long ban on the display of weapons, pillion riding, and the use of tinted vehicle glass under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. This measure aims to prevent any untoward incidents during the upcoming anti-polio campaign commencing on May 26.
