In Swat’s Barikot tehsil, two individuals—a man and a woman—were shot dead in an apparent case of honour killing. According to police, the victims were allegedly in a relationship and were killed by the woman’s relatives. The bodies were sent for autopsy, and an FIR has been registered. Police have arrested one suspect while others remain at large. Authorities have launched a search operation to apprehend the remaining culprits involved in the double murder.
