Turkiye Expresses Solidarity With Pakistan After Islamabad Terror Attack

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the people of Turkiye over the loss of lives in the Islamabad bomb blast. Ishaq Dar thanked the Turkish leadership for their support and reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to combat terrorism. The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations and regional and international developments. Earlier, China strongly condemned the attack on a mosque in Islamabad, expressing deep shock and pledging support for Pakistan’s efforts to maintain national security and stability.
