United States President Donald Trump has invited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to join the Gaza Board of Peace, a body being formed to address the ongoing crisis in the Palestinian territory. The Foreign Office spokesperson confirmed that Pakistan has formally received the invitation to join the peace board established for Gaza.
Responding to media queries, the spokesperson said that Pakistan will continue to play an active role in global initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region. He emphasized that Pakistan remains in close contact with the international community to support efforts for lasting peace in Gaza, adding that a just and durable solution to the Palestine issue must be achieved in line with United Nations resolutions.
