Traders Call for Improved Facilities at Torkham to Boost Trade with Afghanistan

Traders at the Torkham border crossing have urged authorities to enhance facilities to expedite trade with Afghanistan. They recommended restricting the National Logistics Cell (NLC) to managing the customs terminal, which remains underutilized. This call coincides with a visit from an Afghan government delegation aimed at facilitating cargo movement and maintaining seamless bilateral and transit trade.
