Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds have caused widespread destruction in several districts of Balochistan, including Naseerabad, Dhadar, and Sohbatpur. Mud houses collapsed, school buildings were damaged, and key infrastructure like solar panels and electricity poles were swept away. Water levels in rivers like the Nari and Mushkaf surged dangerously, raising fears of further flooding. In Sohbatpur, overflowing streams flooded low-lying areas, knocking out power and communication lines. Although the rain has eased, affected communities are still struggling, and damage assessments and relief efforts are underway.
