Three Years After Sidhu Moosewala’s Murder, Family Rejects BBC Documentary and Demands Justice

Jarida Report

On June 11, which would have been Sidhu Moosewala’s 32nd birthday, fans around the world were gifted with three unreleased tracks—“0008,” “Neal,” and “Take Notes”—from his posthumous EP “Moose Print.” The powerful songs reignited love for the late artist and renewed calls for justice. As his music dominated platforms, controversy emerged with the BBC’s release of “The Killing Call”, a documentary on Moosewala’s life and murder. His family strongly condemned the film, calling it misleading and insensitive, especially with the murder case still unresolved. They stressed that nearly three years have passed without justice, and such portrayals only distort the truth. For Moosewala’s family and millions of supporters, the fight isn’t over. His voice may have been silenced, but his message lives on through his art—and so does the demand for accountability. Three years of silence in courtrooms won’t bury the truth.
