Thailand’s New Cabinet to Unveil Policy Blueprint by September End

Jarida Report

The new cabinet of Thailand, led by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, is working on an official policy statement, which must be presented to parliament by September 29, said a senior official of the ruling Bhumjaithai Party today. The shift is an important milestone for the new government, which began with royal approval of its ministerial team earlier in the day, to take over total governing power.

The blueprint policy will define priorities and indicate the agenda of the administration following political turbulence. The passing of the statement enables the cabinet to begin the implementation of its mandate.
