An Afghan Taliban government official announced on Sunday that any deal over Bagram air base was “not possible”, after US President Donald Trump voiced his desires to get that former Military base back.
“If Afghanistan doesn’t give Bagram Airbase back to those that built it, the United States of America, BAD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN!!!” Trump said this as an ambiguous warning to Afghanistan for not giving their own land to the foreign state of US that they were at war with. Trump, has wanted to gather as many significant territories for the US as he can. Zooming in on sites like the Panama Canal, Greenland and now Bagram.
