Sirbaz Khan Becomes First Pakistani to Summit All 8000ers Without Oxygen

Sirbaz Khan, a 35-year-old mountaineer from Hunza, has become the first Pakistani to summit all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter peaks without using supplementary oxygen. He achieved this historic milestone on May 18, 2025, by climbing Mount Kangchenjunga in Nepal. Known for his commitment to pure alpine style, Sirbaz began his climbing journey in 2016 and has since scaled peaks like Everest and K2. His achievement is hailed as a major moment for Pakistani mountaineering.
