Sindh CM Says Controversial Canals Project Will End Before Budget

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has asserted that the controversial Cholistan canal project will be halted before the 2025–26 federal budget. He criticized the Punjab government for increasing water diversion to the TP Link Canal and claimed that the project was approved during the caretaker government’s tenure. Murad emphasized that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will not support the project and plans to hold public rallies in various cities to oppose it.
