Sindh CM Announces 1,000 Pink Electric Motorcycles for Women’s Mobility

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced the procurement of 1,000 pink electric motorcycles to enhance women’s mobility and independence in the province. These motorcycles will be distributed through a transparent balloting process to permanent female residents of Sindh who are students or employed and hold a valid two-wheeler driving license. The initiative aims to promote economic empowerment, challenge gender stereotypes, and improve safety for women commuters. Additionally, the Sindh Mass Transit Authority plans to acquire 15 double-decker buses and 35 electric buses to bolster Karachi’s public transport system.
