Seven-Year-Old Boy Found Dead in Water Tank in New Karachi

A seven-year-old boy, Mohammed Sarim, who had been missing for 11 days in Karachi, was discovered deceased in an underground water tank at Anam Apartments in New Karachi. The body exhibited multiple injuries, indicating that the death was not accidental. Sarim had disappeared on January 7 after attending a madressah near his North Karachi home. A ransom call was reportedly made to his family during his disappearance. The discovery of his body has raised concerns about child safety in the area, prompting the Sindh chief minister and home minister to take notice of recent kidnappings.
