Seven people, including four security personnel, were martyred in two separate firing incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district and Peshawar, officials confirmed Wednesday. An FC vehicle was ambushed in Karak’s Garagri area, killing four personnel including the driver. The attacks come amid a resurgence in terrorism since the TTP ended its ceasefire in late 2022. KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur condemned the violence, vowing swift arrests and honouring the slain as national heroes. The province, along with Balochistan, remains a key hotspot in Pakistan’s escalating security challenges.
