Senior PPP Leader Senator Taj Haider Passes Away After Battling Cancer

Taj Haider, a senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), passed away in Karachi at the age of 84 after battling cancer. He served as a senator from 2012 to 2018 and was re-elected for the term 2021-2027, chairing the Senate Standing Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges. Haider was also the PPP’s central secretary general.
