Saudi Arabia has announced that Eidul Fitr will commence on Sunday, March 30, 2025, marking the end of Ramazan. The United Arab Emirates and Qatar will also observe Eid on the same day. Conversely, Oman and Iran have scheduled the holiday for Monday.
In Pakistan, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) indicated earlier this week that Eidul Fitr is likely to fall on March 31, with a high probability of moon sighting on Sunday.Â
This year’s Ramazan festivities have been overshadowed by Israel’s renewed hostilities in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of over 50,000 people, mostly women and children, according to Gaza’s health ministry.Â
