The distribution of funds under the Ramzan relief package will take place today (Wednesday). Each family will receive Rs. 12,500. The Provincial Government has allocated Rs. 13 billion for this initiative, and the Finance Department has released the funds to the Social Welfare Department. The package will be distributed across 35 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Orphans, widows, and persons with disabilities are eligible for assistance, and the relief package will also include temporarily homeless individuals.
According to official documents, a total of 1,016,394 individuals will benefit from the Ramazan package. At the district level, Deputy Commissioners, District Social Welfare Officers, and Additional Deputy Commissioners have been authorized to oversee the distribution process. Officials stated that eligible individuals will receive a notification via mobile phone and can collect the Ramzan package from any designated shop.
